从跨文化角度浅析商务英语翻译[英语论文]

摘要

当今不同文化背景的商务沟通越来越频繁,不同文化背景的人们需要不断进行沟通,跨文化沟通通常出现在不同文化背景的人之间的沟通。从心理学的角度来看,不同文化背景下的编码、解码即为跨文化交流。跨文化交流在翻译中起关键影响,翻译不仅仅是语言的转换,更是涉及文化的转换。本论文共分为4部分,本论文第一部分首先介绍了文化和语言的定义,英语论文范文,为后文介绍翻译中的跨文化做好铺垫。第二部分介绍商务英语翻译中的跨文化因素,首先介绍翻译中文化所起的表现及影响,然后略论作用商务英语的跨文化因素:习惯不同、文化背景不同、认知和思维方式不同,最后,介绍跨文化作用商务英语翻译的表现,包括文化意象的错位,文化意象的缺失、文化语用功能的缺失。第三部分着重介绍商务英语中跨文化交际翻译的策略,主要有采取直译法时以文化适应性的概念抓住准确的文化特征,意译法让读者适应文化翻译的转换,音译法时要寻找合适的美学判断,同时应该寻找中外文化的共同点。

Abstract

Nowadays, the communication between countries is turning to be more and more popular. People among different culture need to communication from time to time, which lead to the cross - cultural phenomenon. Cross Culture usually exists on communication between different cultural backgrounds. From the psychological point of view, encode and decode of communicate information between different cultural background is cross-cultural communication. A good translator should not only own the language ability, but wide range of knowledge, including cultures of source and target language. There are four chapters in this paper; the first chapter introduces the definition of culture and language, which paves the way for introduction of cross-culture in translation at a later stage. Chapter two describes the cross-cultural factors in business English translation. At first the display and function of culture in translation are introduced. And  the cross-cultural factors that influence the Business English translation are concluded as : different habits, different cultural backgrounds, different cognitive and ways of thinking, At last, Concrete manifestation of cross-culture impact on business English translation are introduced, including Cultural Imagery dislocation and loss, Cultural pragmatics failures. The third chapter elaborates the strategies for cross-cultural translation in business English. Four strategies are suggested. The first one is grasping accurate cultural significance on the concept of "cultural adaptability" in literal translation, the second one is using paraphrase let readers adapt to the translation of cultural translation. And the third one is seeking to suitable as seeking to suitable aesthetic judgments in transliteration and the last one is finding the same point of Chinese and Western cultures to avoid misunderstanding.
