Chapter One Introduction

1.1 Research background 
In 2017, the Ministry of Education issued the Elementary Education Curriculum Reform (Trial Version). In 2017, the Ministry of Education promulgated the General High  School  Curriculum  Standards  of  Chemistry  (Experimental),  which  marked  the full implementation of the new high school chemistry curriculum reform. In 2017, the new curriculum reform of high school has been in full swing across the country. In the Elementary Education Curriculum Reform (Trial version), it is clearly stated that: the teacher  should  respect  the  students‘  personality,  pay  attention  to  their  individual differences, meet their learning needs, create the  educational  environment which  can guide  students to actively participate in, stimulate students‘ enthusiasm for learning, 1cultivating students‘ ability to acquire and apply knowledge, so that each student can be fully developed.2 Thus,  the  new  curriculum  is  made  for  the  purpose  of  promoting  students‘ development, and its core concept is ―all is for the students, for all the students, for students‘ all‖. And teachers are implementers of the new curriculum reform, and the theory  of  the  new  course  is  ultimately  to  be  achieved  through  teacher's  classroom teaching  practice.  It  undoubtedly  puts  forward  higher  requirements  for  teachers' professional  quality  and  ability.  Building  a  high-quality  teacher  rank  is  the  key  to promoting quality education.

1.2 Research structure and research methods 
The  research  aims  to  study  influencing  factors  of  PCK  in  order  to  explore teachers‘ PCK developmental mechanisms. The study starts from a literature review and  an  investigation  of  middle  school  English  teachers'  PCK  status,  to  analyze influencing factors of PCK, interpret what the influencing factors are. Then, exploring the  level  and  extent  to  which  the  various  factors  influence  the  teachers,  and  how teachers can effectively  utilize and integrate all the factors so that they  can construct high-quality  PCK;  at  the  same  time  they  can  achieve  high-quality  teaching.  In  short this  article  aims  to  answer  the  question  of  how  the  influencing  factors  work, identifying  existing  problems,  and  in  the end  providing  some  reasonable  suggestions for teacher development in terms of PCK.
