Abstract:China has become much stronger in both her politics and economics, and her influence around the world gets strengthened at the same time. China absorbs plenty of new knowledge and advanced techniques from other countries, as well as her thousands of years’ outstanding culture have been well diffused. English gives a huge hand to bridge China with the world, and its significance is over estimating. In the long historical cultural atmosphere, many unique Chinese sayings cannot find a corresponding English word, so China English appears. Some famous experts and scholars have discussed and defined what China English is, but no one can absolutely say he is right. The notion from professor Li Wenzhong (李文忠) would be cited in this paper to analyze China English emergence, development and prospect, including its characteristics as a language variant, its obeying principles and its great function with the example of the subtitles translation of Kung Fu Panda. In the end, this paper gets a conclusion that China English would be widely accepted and used around the world because the strengthening comprehensive national strength of China.

中文摘要:随着中国政治经济的日渐强大，中国在世界范围内的影响力也渐渐增强。中国几千年悠久的文化得到了很好的传播，同时也吸收了世界上不少先进的知识和技术。英语作为中国与世界沟通的桥梁起到了不可估量的巨大作用。由于本国文化的影响，许多中国特色的东西找不到相对应的英文单词，于是产生了比较有特色的中国英语。一些著名的专家学者们对中国英语的概念下过定义，但是仍然争论不休，本文借用了李文忠先生的定义，并以电影《功夫熊猫》的字幕翻译为例子来分析中国英语的产生，发展及其前景， 作为语言变体的特点，遵循的规则和其主要作用。最后得出结论，中国英语将随着中国综合国力的增强而越来越广泛地被接受和运用。
