Japanese teaching can not be separated from Japanese culture and should target the cultivation of learners with humanistic quality.Although Japanese teaching has been the major carrier for the culture exchange between Japan and China, cross-cultural education in Japanese teaching hasn＇t been stressed adequately. Study of the concept, the content and the target of cross-culture education will provide theoretical basis for its application to Japanese teaching.
